Sr. Sto. Niño de Cebu visits in IHMA

Posted by admin on March 5, 2020 5:54 AM

January 24, 2020 was indeed a blessing to the IHMA community as the pilgrim image of Sr. Sto. Niño paid a visit to the school.

A mass was held at the gymnasium, presided by Father Antonio O. Nombrefia, OSA.

Father Antonio invited everyone to remember this as a gift of unity and make Sr. Sto. Niño the

inspiration to unite despite our differences and diverse gifts. “We should consider ourselves as complements to one another,” he said.

“Collaboration, cooperation, partnership, and teamwork are leading to reinforce and to step forward for the perfection of unity that Christ’s will for us,” he highlighted in his homily.

Students, parents, faculty, and staff were given the opportunity to look closely, touch, and offer their petition to Sr. Sto. Niño.

This is the second year that the whole Diocese of Mati celebrates the Feast of the Child Jesus. It is part of the celebration of the 500th year of the arrival of Christianity in our country.

The image visited different parishes in the Diocese to remind the faithful how much God loves the people.
